Hi, I’m Shuntao. I’m a London-based artist originally from Xi’an, China.

I’m a visual storyteller and I express through illustration and graphic design. I work across traditional medium, printmaking and Procreate. I often take inspiration from Chinese folk culture in my creative style. My work explore women, culture and human connections.

Kaopu Studio is my multidisciplinary practice in illustration, graphic design, and art.

P.S. “Kaopu” (靠谱) means reliable and trustworthy in Chinese, it’s a nickname given by my friends :) And bonus points to those who have spotted clues in some of my work that I am a yoga teacher.
