The word "yoni" is rooted in the ancient Sanskrit language, and carries with it a profound symbolism that speaks to the cosmic origins of life. In Tantric yoga, the yoni is seen as a gateway to the universe, representing the powerful connection between all living things. It is this concept that has inspired me to explore the theme of yoni in my latest printmaking project.

Drawing on the rich artistic traditions of Rajasthan, I have created a work that combines abstract symbolism with minimalist design, evoking a sense of wonder and mystery that invites viewers to contemplate the mysteries of the universe. At the center of the print, an inverted triangle represents the yoni, symbolizing the cosmic gateway that connects all things.

To create a sense of texture and chaos, I used a roller to make marks that capture the essence of the universe's explosive birth. The resulting texture is a visual representation of the Big Bang, a moment of intense creative energy that gave rise to all that we know.

As a final touch, I added an image captured by NASA's Webb space telescope, nestled within a dark cosmic egg. This serves as a reminder of the vastness and mystery of the universe, and of the profound connection that exists between all things. Through this work, I hope to inspire viewers to contemplate the wonders of creation and to see themselves as part of a larger cosmic whole.
