The goddess Kali embodies the concepts of change, transformation, and destruction. In contrast to Aphrodite's portrayal of beauty and love, Kali emanates a fierce and bloody essence. Her tongue protrudes from her mouth, dripping with blood, while one of her hands holds a severed head. In her dance, she stands with one foot on Siva. This vivid depiction of Kali's tongue leaves a haunting yet powerful impression, symbolizing defiance against societal norms and opinions. It represents fearlessness in the face of patriarchal establishments. To capture the essence of her tongue, I have chosen a long inverted red triangle as its representation. Additionally, Kali can also be depicted as the seventh tongue of Agni, the fire god. By repeating a pattern of seven tongues, a sense of motion is evoked. The cosmic background of the artwork features an image captured by NASA's Webb space telescope, further enhancing its celestial allure.
